Stomping In The Mud Kitchen

Recently, throughout the Early Childhood Education community, there has been a lot of interest in the value and development of mud kitchens for preschoolers. We decided that it was a good time to post some of our favorite pictures of our very much loved and ever changing mud kitchen.

Sometime the mud kitchen needs more space...

The secret ingredient to any good mud kitchen recipe is water.

The hose is always available!

Scooping and pouring, scooping and pouring. Young children will spend hours in this highly engaging activity.

Thanks for Stomping by!

  2. Thanks so much, Maureen. I agree every child should have a mud kitchen! I remember mine very fondly. I also think that a mud kitchen is not only for young children...I've seen 10 and 11 year olds having a wonderful time cooking with mud!
